Got fish and chips for myself and two friends.We all agreed that they were the best we had had in years!!Lovely fish, cooked well in crispy batter, nice chips and lovely scraps!When we finished, the only thing to be seen in the bottom of the cartons were a few drops of vinegar and a couple of minute pieces of batter / scraps….NO GREASE!!!!!This is the first time I have been there in years, as I now live in Durham, (I was visiting friends in Skelton) but it will most definitely...read full review
Incredibly polite, well mannered staff. Food was cooked to order and was excellently cooked and hot. Whole menu was very cheap and certainly worth more than what you pay. Would certainly recommend, nothing is too much for the staff here plus, being open on a bank holiday was a bonus.

Saw the sign for this chippy and it was the first night of our holidays so instead of cooking we decided to try here. There were 16 of us so expected the odd problem but all the food was cooked perfectly, hot and tasty, would heartily recommend it to anyone! The perfect start to our holiday!
