Café Italia is a unique local cafe full of character and characters. The locals gather for coffee and conversation and the latter flows at an amusing rate. Well worth a visit if you are a people watcher, and you’re encouraged to join in. The proprietor (Janette) has an infectious personality and her Italian cuisine is delicious
Wonderful place! The owners were lovely and very welcoming, and I had a delicious cheese and onion sandwich that was ready in less than 2 minutes along with a really nice cup of tea. I highly recommend coming here, it was so nice.

This is a fantastic little find on St Nicholas Cliff. First visited 20+ Years ago still coming back. People all talkative. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced and the coffee is sublime. Well worth a visit. Good to visit whether the Weather is good or bad! You'll always feel welcome.
