All round excellent! A warm and friendly welcome and experience throughout. There was 11 of us in our group and service was still faultless. The food and drink menu has a good selection and there is something for everyone.The food was fabulous, the taste, quality and size was great.Will definitely recommend it to friends and family
The Black Dog oozes friendliness. I had to change the day of the booking at very short notice and received just friendly accommodation of the ask , not a hint of frustration. This set a good precedent for the warm welcome from the landlord. Service was extremely efficient. Just had the best Sunday dinner!!!! Was made to feel very welcome. Service and staff were exceptional but the food was outstanding. Delicious. Definitely going back. Price was very fair. Recommend booking a table first because it was super busy. Also, wear your big stretchy clothes, portion size very generous
