Warm welcome from the pro and catering staff. A good breakfast to start with, but come on, where were the beans? . Very reasonable green fees.The course was in excellent condition considering the amount of rain in recent days. Great views of the surrounding countryside taken in on a well set out course that I would highly recommend.
I visited recently from the Midlands as a member of the 1893 clubs, as my wife was doing a charity walk across the Yorkshire Dales. The course was in great condition with some great feature holes with stunning backdrops. The Pro Peter, who I had contacted the week before, made sure I was well looked after and that members were on hand to go out with me, as I was on my own. One of the friendliest and most welcoming golf clubs I’ve visited.The course is surrounded by spectacular views.Every hole is different and the holes over and around the river are challenging and memorable.Club house serves good wholesome food at reasonable price.
