A hidden gem of a find on our stopover in Thirsk. Lovely smiley staff, gorgeous food and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. If you're ever in the area, pop in and have a browse and grab a bite to eat!
A nice ambience with lovely friendly and helpful staff.A wide selection of books.Tasteful stationery and gifts to buy.Beautiful cards for every occasion. Cafe is good.Generous bacon or sausage barms are among the savoury delights. Some comfy sofas to relax on inside and garden is nice too in clement weather.

Called in the book shop on a busy, warm day visiting Thirsk Decided the menu look tempting so stayed for a cream tea and a savoury tea. Sat outside in the lovely garden. One of the best cheese scones I’ve had in a long time.
