The little place is an absolute gem! The welcome from the outset was warm and friendly. There are only a few tables, so it feels very exclusive and the customer service, very personal. The food is utterly delicious, and the wine-pairings are well thought out, and work perfectly with each course. The owners are both very knowledgeable, and extremely hardworking. Liz made us more than welcome from the start making us feel relaxed in front of the fire. Dining was a culinary delight and time passed so quickly as we went from surprise to surprise of each course of the tasting menu. You even get your own box of cutlery! A special occasion evening .sadly we were not staying

We stayed for 1 night on Saturday for my birthday in the Waters room and had the tasting menu. Now I have to say all the food and drinks were amazing, one of the best tasting menus we have had, and the breakfast was lovely a little of everything like a small tasting platter. The owner Liz was very friendly. The room for us was very nicely done but a little small, dark and cramped and it was quite drafty but it is an old building.
