Found this little gem walking down the street, we ordered a takeaway burrito and tacos and they were delicious. Lovely ladies that served us, would definitely recommend this place.

Al Taco is a hidden gem of an eatery, we tried the chicken quesadilla, burrito and nachos, they were loaded and all the ingredients were fresh.The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming and nothing is too much.It is well worth a visit when you are in Whitby.

Very small and cozy with very friendly staff. Probably 4 tables if you want to sit and eat. You can book a table in advance if you want but we just turned up and found a table that was free.The food was amazing. We had Nachos to start and then pulled beef Burritos. The portions are large and we were both very full after. They make their own hot sauce and it's smokey and delicious without being too hot to handle. Definitely adds to the already great flavours!

Very small restaurant in the centre of Whitby. Really tasty food and great atmosphere - I really enjoyed the Texas chilli, the best I’ve ever had tbh. The food was fantastic and at a great price. Friendly service too!

Lovely, friendly, unpretentious little Mexican restaurant. Very reasonable prices, small but great menu and the homemade chilli ? sauce was the best I’ve ever tried. It’s not licensed , so bring a bottle and would advise booking as it’s small. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Whitby.

We ate here last Sunday whilst staying in Whitby for the weekend. I reserved a table through their Facebook page to avoid the disapointment of not being able to get a table. The menu is varied and has lots to choose from. We ordered chicken fajitas and a quesadilla. Our food was gorgeous and the portions were huge. We could have shared my quesadilla it was so big. The ladies that work there are lovely and make you feel so welcome. They offered to box up our leftovers for us and gave us some Churros and chocolate sauce. We will definitely be eating here again next time we are in Whitby.

We had an excellent visit to Al Taco. We visited as a group of 5 including a vegetarian and a vegan. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and meat options too. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was incredibly good value. Plus the portions were huge. Just to be aware, it is your own booze (£1.50 corkage pp).
