Angel Fisheries was our 2nd choice of places to eat in Whitby after our first choice was charging a rather extortionate price for fish & chips. The restaurant was empty & the prices were much more reasonable (7.95 for small haddock & chips) so we ordered & sat down. The staff were just waiting for customers bless them, chatting & checking their phones . The food was pretty nice, freshly cooked and hot. It's my go-to chippy in Whitby, staff are always super helpful, fish is always super fresh and it's a whole quid cheaper than most others.Cod and chips £9.95 in the heart of Whitby.

Wow, fabulous fish and chips, freshly cooked to order, lovely crispy batter, great chunky chips, reasonable prices. An absolute little gem hiding down an alley in the middle of Whitby!
