Now then, we arrived from Edmonton Canada ?? to Whitby and on the recommendation of many, decided to tuck into the most incredible fish and chips on this Earth. The piccys speak for themselves and we sure loved the whiter than white fish and the chips were divine. My friend had his with curry sauce and has decided that it's the best he has had in the UK. Sat with a lovely couple from Milton Keynes and we have all agreed 10 out of 10 for the food. Forget anywhere else and go here. Thank you Rebecca for your service and of course the rest of the crew in the shop. Well done folks ❤️????❤️

Must say that we enjoyed our Haddock and Chips to share between us. We are small eaters and love Haddock. With the Mushy Peas and Curry Sauce and Scraps and Bread Bun ???. Very delicious ??? indeed....

Takeaway or eat in . We ate in on one of the tables straight out of the box ! Toilets on the premises. Nice change and lot cheaper than some of its famous neighbours.

On a chilly Monday lunchtime in January, this was one of the only places open to eat in Whitby, so we stopped by for a quick bite. The lovely lady behind the counter was friendly and served us immediately. We sat in and were charged no different if we had taken the food out, which was very reasonable. I had a chip butty, small battered sausage and scraps, which cost less than £5 so great value. The batter was tasteless and needed salt and vinegar, but the chips were nice, and the sausage was OK.

A great chippy, decent prices, and the fish was excellent. Cooked perfectly, crispy batter but moist soft fish. Good portion size. Curry sauce was lovely. No queuing either!

Angel Fisheries was our 2nd choice of places to eat in Whitby after our first choice was charging a rather extortionate price for fish & chips. The restaurant was empty & the prices were much more reasonable (7.95 for small haddock & chips) so we ordered & sat down. The staff were just waiting for customers bless them, chatting & checking their phones . The food was pretty nice, freshly cooked and hot. The batter was a little tasteless, not dripping I think, but it was a good meal at a better price than many other places. No complaints here, it was a god meal in peace.

Probably the best fish &chip restaurant in Whitby. All freshly cooked and super delicious food. Nice seating area if you want to sit inside. The staff tirelessly working never stopping to keep the flow of orders. I mentioned to the lady (one doing the cooking) sorry didn’t catch your name you are a warrior at that cooking counter ?????? Don’t visit Whitby with out a busy to this Gem ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's my go-to chippy in Whitby, staff are always super helpful, fish is always super fresh and it's a whole quid cheaper than most others.Cod and chips £9.95 in the heart of Whitby.
