“I've just eaten the best wrap EVER!!!!!! It was a falafel wrap with mango chutney, coronation chickpeas and mint yoghurt with a sweet chilli dip....delicious.Everything was fresh and so tasty and the wrap was packed full. You simply must try this. I also tried, for the first time, a pistachio and marzipan tea and this too was superb, if you like pistachios and marzipan as much as me. My friend's had the bacon and brie on toast and the smashed avocado on toast and both loved them.The service was great and the interior of the cafe was like a old fashioned eclectic teashop with miss-matched teacups etc. A great place.Vegetarian options: I strongly recommend the falafel wrap.”

“Our family of four visited here after a recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming but not in your space. We came for fish and chips but the menu was varied and offered something for everyone including vegetarian. We had a large haddock, small cod and two children’s menus with curry sauce which was a little fruity for my personal taste but still nice.The dinning room and bathroom was spotless with view of the harbour from 1st floor.It is best to book as it was almost full by 1pm, would I go again yes.”

“I had seen Various you tubers go into here. As soon as I walked in I felt at home. The smell of mint sauce was greeted with home made pie. I had the vegan woodland mushroom pie with mask potato and mushy peas. A sachet of mint sauce was applied and a cup of Yorkshire tea mmmmm. The meal,music and atmosphere was spot on you could not fault this place full stop. Will i go again of course i will.”

“You can't come to Whitby and not have a slap up fish and chip supper can you! Granted it's not as cheap as it once was, and sitting in as opposed to take away adds further to the price. I must say this was excellent though, only a few other people inside so there was only a minimal wait for the food and drinks. Service was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. Meal was excellent, but then if it wasn't I don't think any restaurant doing fish and chips is Whitby would survive ?Top end of price, but I would say worth it as the food was pretty much perfect.”

“Terrys was very welcoming and dog friendly too , we had been trying to find somewhere to eat at lunchtime inside as it was a bit cold. Most of the places wouldn’t let dogs inside but Terrys did. The food was exactly what we wanted, haddock & chips special and scampi and chips were excellent and the service was friendly and efficient too.”

“Lovely atmosphere,we only had cocktails,but they were excellent. They currently have 12 Christmas cocktails on offer at the moment, two for £18. Expertly made and worth every penny,I highly recommend the "All I want for Christmas" cocktail.Unable to eat here due to lack of vegan options.”

“Our favourite stay across the UK. Beautiful rooms, retaining the original 1600s features, but with glorious beds and showers. We ate at the restaurant last night, and it was one of the best meals I have ever had (and I’m 51!) - the lamb was out of this world.Rooms: Gorgeous- really comfortable, but retaining all their period featuresNearby activities: Close to everything Whitby has to offer.Walkability: Easy to get to everything. Parking is difficult - but we ended up parking at the long stay which is about a 10 minute walkFood & drinks: Stunning”
