Best pie and mash shop on the cosmos and I know my stuff having lived in Turkey for many years. God I miss my Turkish wife who ran a pie and mash shop in Istanbul, she kept the house in excellent order and was an amazing cook as well. However we must move on in life and this certainly isn’t the forum to be discussing such things. I really do apologise. Good pie and mash- thank you.

Really enjoyed it here, would recommend to everyone! Really tasty food, a good range of choices. The lady serving us was so friendly and happy and really patient with my indecisive boyfriend. Dogs welcome too and had a great atmosphere when quiet and when busier.Vegetarian options: 2 or 3 pies suitable for vegetarians or vegans. I had homity and it was lovely.Kid-friendliness: Just sausage and mash for kids but my daughter loved it!

After watching Gary Eats on YouTube, I wanted to give this place a go.Inside is very quaint, we managed to grab a seat before it got full thankfully.I got the chicken and leek pie which was probably the best chicken and leek pie I have had, it went very well with the mash and gravy.I definitely recommend!

A tasty change from the usual fish & chips. The Peppard Steak pie & Steak & kidney pie was packed with meat and was delicious. A small friendly run cafe. Well worth a visit uf you're in the area.

Home made pies, mash, peas and gravy. Proper old fashioned puddings with proper custard. Whitby's best kept little secret.
