Excellent food, service and dining experience. Give it a four out of five as the kitchen had run out of a some key ingredients for the dishes we wanted and it was still early in the evening. The staff were clear about that and the food was lovely—perfectly made homemade ravioli was especially nice as were the pizzas—but doubling or trebling up on prawns is still not a substitute for lack of scallops and mussels.

Pizza West is a fantastic Italian dining experience in Whitby. Set in a modern restaurant with traditional ambience, diners are given the choice of table service or a seat at the counter where you can see the staff working in the centre. The staff were very attentive and the food was stunning. My only negative is that I'm not local so won't be able to visit again soon to try even more of it!
