We eat here every month. A must for people visiting whitby who want more than fish and chips. It was our wedding anniversary and we were treated to a complimentary glass of fizz. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly and attentive staff. Great food. A jewels in whitby Crown. A must visit.Parking: Even though there was a wedding on, there was still plenty of parking

Went for xmas dinner, the food was fantastic, can't fault the service food or ambience. The castle itself is beautifully decorated for xmas. Considering the amount of dinners and diners we didn't wait and the food was nicely cooked.

Sunday lunch on a cold December 3rd. Fabulous beef, excellent vegetables with a bit of thought and flavour, ginormous Yorkshire pudding and gravy to die for. All served with a smile and friendly chat. Food was hot and the atmosphere welcoming and warm. We’ll be back again soon.
*5 for everything. Very, very, very helpful, kind and conscientious staff. Gorgeous coffee with different kinds of milk alternatives. Huge fish with a choice of skinny or fat chips. Sunday dinner without the meat is cheaper than with. And exceedingly and surprisingly cheap for the experience. Thank you, Sneaton Castle, we will see you again next month.(For wheelchair users, there are a few steps to the wc).Vegetarian options: If you have any dietary requirements the staff/chefs are more than happy to change things around so that you are happy with your meal.I have milk and sunflower intolerances and I have never gone home poorly.Kid-friendliness: We took my 7yr old Granddaughter and she left happy with a full tummy.

Came for lunch in the Garden room with two friends and had a very nice afternoon. Spent three hours eating, drinking coffee and looking around this interesting building. Staff excellent and obviously loved the place themselves. Its been renovated to a high standard and food, service was very good. We will definitely return. Very interesting building and old Nunnery built in a castle style although old but but not an ancient building and in great condition. Very sympathetic restoration and the old chapel a fantastic wedding venue. Ambiance great and well worth a visit.Parking: As a Hotel & Wedding venue obviously lots of Parking but enter from the main road into Whitby which has a large entrance as we ended up going in the back way and was hard to find.
