Came for lunch in the Garden room with two friends and had a very nice afternoon. Spent three hours eating, drinking coffee and looking around this interesting building. Staff excellent and obviously loved the place themselves. Its been renovated to a high standard and food, service was very good. We will definitely return. Very interesting building and old Nunnery built in a castle style although old but but not an ancient building and in great condition. Very sympathetic restoration...read full review

Absolutely outstanding! Beautiful rooms, stunning grounds. Staff so friendly. The food in the restaurant was so delicious! Highly recommend, thank you for a fabulous stay. Rack of lamb delicious! Breakfast tasty, lovely touches in the rooms. Stay here!

It's a very long time since I've been wowwed by a hotel ?.. if you haven't been, then give it a try if you're in the area. If i could give it 6* then i would!! The only down side is they only do double rooms not twins, and I would have loved to go with girlfriends (60 somethings, so not on the razzle). Hubby and I will definitely be back though.
