A planned stop during our Sunday morning group cycle.It was full inside but we were able to sit outdoors. Fortunately, the weather was reasonably good.Great coffee and nice food however, the food service was long. We waited over 30 minutes for breakfast sandwiches, by which time we had finished our drinks.I appreciate that they were busy but still seemed a long wait compared to similar establishments.I gave the atmosphere 3 stars as couldn't really comment on this being outside.
We went today to celebrate our daughter’s birthday/Christmas treat. We found the place friendly with polite staff. We had our dog with us that was given a sausage and also a welcome. We all had the festive afternoon tea at £18.00 each. The food was o k and we enjoyed our visit. We were given a box to take home what we couldn’t eat.
This place is a solid 4 star with the potential of 5 stars.The food is good - sometimes a little slow but that's OK.The issue is the facility: car parking in the winter (no verges) means you struggle to get parked and never know if you're blocking other peoples business in. Just a lot of abandoned cars a lot of the time.If you don't book in and turn up, expect to see lots of tables with "reserved" but still be turned away.
