“I've been ordering from the Parvin for years and it is, in my opinion, the best Indian restaurant in York. The lamb is cooked perfectly (Ghost E Calamansi is my favourite dish), the portions are large, and the delivery is always either on time or slightly early and feels like it's just left the oven / pan. I genuinely don't think there's anything I'd change!”

“Tried this restaurant while on holiday from liverpool I had a lamb dish and can honestly say it was the best lamb indian dish I have had, the lamb melted in your mouth others in my party had prawns and chicken and found them excellent. I dont normally leave reviews but felt like I had to as I was so impressed.”

“My heritage is north indian so my standards are high (mum's cooking is unbeatable). Ive just moved to York and tried to find a good indian, But this place is definitely proper homecooked food. The nan was surprisingly tasty, the dhal (yellow) cooked really well, great choice of spices, not watery unlike other places. Veggie options were all extremely tasty too, do wish they had more paneer options! Nothing to complain about, very good and definitely worth the price, will be coming back.”
