I could never give somewhere a 5 for food but if I was going to this would be the place, this has got to be the best Indian takeaway in York, the staff are all absolutely fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. Ordered a family New Years Eve dinner from here. It was the first time we'd used this take-away (we fancied a change from our usual) so we didn't really know what to expect. Ordered & paid online. Simple procedure. Dinner was ready to collect 30 minutes later. 10% discount for collection. Lots of food for under £40. Saved leftovers for the next day..the portions were very generous. Popped in here for the first time recently, and we were immediately impressed by the cheerful friendly staff. My partner and I decided to try some unusual items from the extensive menu, and these were prepared within minutes for us. Everything surpassed our expectations, so we look forward to returning to try something else tasty soon - well done, guys!
