Hubby and I just visited York for the weekend. We fancied a curry so browsed Google reviews for ideas. Bengal Brasserie was up there with good reviews and it didn't disappoint. Make sure you book a table as they turned at least 20 away in the hour or so we were there! Do you ever go out for dinner and think "tonight I'm going to try something different" and then go for the usual? Well, I was really brave and went for it, sabzi sizzler, and it was delicious! We chose this restaurant based on the amazing reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and our questions about the menu and any recommendations were very well explained. The food was wonderful - lovely and fresh and we will certainly be visiting again next time we’re in York. Saf, Saj and Jay - thank you for the amazing food and wonderful reception.

Had a lovely meal, great, friendly service and super attention to detail. Food was delicious and cooked from scratch. Thanks to Saf, Saj and Jay for an enjoyable dining experience. We will be back again.
