Just in Huby for a two day visit to York and we fancied a simple chippy tea. Quick look online and here we are. Good food and friendly service and the bank hasn't been broken. Great would recommend
We had had most of the other takeaway options and decided that fish n chips. Was warmly greeted when we walked in and ordered. Note that Sausages up north are not the same size as ones in Suffolk!! They are double the size!! Luckily my other half will eat anything that's left over!!! Excellent fish n chips though.

Well happy with my ‘chippy tea’ ?This felt almost ‘retro’, a good old fashioned chippy, not one of your new ‘serves anything and everything’ (but not very well) type of places.Battered sausage, chips & curry sauce, washed down with Dandelion and Burdock took me right back to my youth.My food was perfect, portion was plenty big enough and the service was spot-on.I’ll be back!
