Sam and Christian where absolutly fantastic.Very welcoming and chatty. When ever me and my mum visit York we always come here to dine. The food I had a change as always wanted to try the pie. Which was cooked by Gav. Steak and ale I tried this time and it didn't disappoint. The carrots where lovely. Me my mum and pooch ruby will see you again soon.

I thought the staff were very helpful and very pleasant and really helped us enjoy our visit.

Attend semi-regularly with a group where we use the function room, lovely space for a medium group on a quiet night.Though can be busy on a match day, but seems like a good place to watch the match as well.
