We have had some hits and misses while in York but by far the best scran we had whilst in this amazing city, I really wish they had a Francy Hanks in Liverpool that gravy was out of this world sh*ts all over KFC chicken tenders where fresh and amazing and chicken burger was amazing 5/5
Was in York for the Christmas market and was looking for somewhere to get a good burger and I saw this place mentioned on a few websites so thought we'd give it a try. Very happy that we did! From the outside it looks like a tiny place but it goes back quite far inside. I had the fancy hanks burger which was 2 patties, cheese and bacon jam. The meat itself was really juicy and tasty, and the bacon jam gave it a really good extra bacon flavour. Was in a really good soft fresh bun....read full review

We had the chicken dinner and chicken tenders with a side of mac and cheese and it was delicious. Good service and a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again when we are next in York
