Just stayed at Royal Oak for the second time, lovely clean rooms, friendly staff and great full English. We were with two other couples and we are all of the same opinion, it won't be our last visit.Food & drinks: Had a top class meal at the dog friendly Italian restaurant more or less next to the pub
My friend and I stayed one night before starting the Cleveland Way. Room very comfortable and nice soft towels and beds and pillows very comfortable. Very nice dinner and breakfast with friendly staff .

Don't walk past this pub looking for something fancy .When you walk through the door you get a warm welcome from the staff and the open fire .The food is well presented and very tasty.Food & drinks: Good traditional pub food
