We had our wedding reception in the stunning Marquee this week. The food was exceptional, everyone commented on how great it was. Extremely good value for money, we couldn't find anything even close by comparison in the area but there was no compromise on the quality of our day at all. The private bar inside the marquee is a great addition and we were kept super warm by the heating despite it being a cold day. We always love coming here, staff are friendly, it’s always busy so you should book.We had lamb shoulder and shicken (vg) kebab which were both amazing. Will always return.Vegetarian options: Despite having no dietary requirements, I had the shicken kebab which was a vegan option, would highly recommend, portion was huge too.
We have eaten here twice before in the bar area because we had a dog but this time no dog so we ate in the restaurant. We were by the kitchen so don't feel we had a true experience of the restaurant, but the food was very good and the service was friendly although the drinks took a long time and my drink was wrong and I sent it back and was going to be charged for it until I had it corrected on the bill.I would still highly recommend this pub and we would go again soon , it's...read full review
