This really deserves to be better. Caesar salad with stale uncooked croutons and steak pie with raw pastry.Still, at least they didn't embarrass us by offering to do anything about it.
An attractive looking public house that I have passed on many occasions.We stopped for drinks and sat in the nice rear garden.... Service was very helpful and friendly and the food looked very nice. I have heard lots of good reports about this place and was not disappointed.

Great food, enjoyed my pasta but found there to be too much sauce for the pasta and the pasta was slightly over-cooked but nonetheless - good value for money & will be back! We really enjoyed our food on our previous visit which was a long while ago also.The restaurant and hotel building is very lovely, nice surroundings and you have the option of hiring out their beautiful character cellar bar.
