Stayed in nearby hotel and decided to try this take away curry house despite low rating, as the problems weren’t to do with the food. I picked up a chicken Korma, pineapple rice, onion bhaji and all were tasty.
I have ordered food to be delivered several times from the Abington Tandoori, we have sampled several different curry dishes from the vast menu and usual starters etc, i have always found the food well cooked and tasting fabulous, the food is delivered very hot and nearly always on time, they can be a downfall of their own success, so many orders to fulfill at one time so on a very rare occasion can be a little late, but the food is well worth the wait. you don't need to go anywhere...read full review

After reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting much however, everything I ordered was lovely! Arrived on time and all hot! I got some starters, chicken masala and a lamb balti! I enjoyed it all, only criticism if any was the balti was a little bit oily but didn’t bother me at all I just know some people would be put off. I would recommend them and would use them again!
