Fantastic place and the best evening we've had in time. Great atmosphere, friendly, welcoming, lovely staff. Couldn't recommend highly enough. A gem on the doorstep. I can't believe this place only has five reviews! I've been coming here for years, it's the ideal stopping off place for a couple of pints before a Saints match. First, it's a proper pub. Cosy, with a fire in the hearth in the winter. Friendly staff and clientele who will start a conversation with you at the drop of a hat. But best of all, it serves Phipps IPA, a throwback ale from the 1800s that is now brewed just down the road at the Albion Brewery. Recommended.

Hit this place up after the Munster match last week (shocking performance by Munster) and the atmosphere was fantastic, what a lovely bunch of lads, great craic, the booze was flowing, and there was a decent food truck out the back.Would absolutely go here for future pre and post games.
