An incredible pub, we recently had my Nan’s wake there. Food was brilliant and the service was excellent. The Staff were amazing and very helpful, they helped give my Nan the perfect send off!

What a gem of a place, popped in on the spur of the moment with our dog (allowed in the bar), lovely welcome, very friendly. Had a fantastic jazz band on too. Just had a drink and a bowl of delicious soup. The loos were the best I've been in in a pub. Looking forward to returning soon 5⭐

Very welcoming cosy pub. Walked from Northampton to visit this pub today. Landlord and staff very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers (which I like) I had a pint of purity mad goose. Nice selection of food at reasonable prices. The pie of the week was venison pie. Will be visiting again.

This is an absolute gem of a pub. We went for Sunday lunch with 6 adults and 1 baby and were welcomed so warmly. The staff were friendly and attentive. The roast dinners (both vegan and meat) were amazing- tasty, great portion sizes, great price. The desserts were fresh and delicious also. Only slight negative was the lack of baby changing facilities but the bathrooms were incredibly clean so not much of an issue. Would highly recommend this pub.

Amazing pub! It’s so refreshing to go for a meal in today’s age and be met with very attentive staff, a warm reception, delicious food (thoroughly recommend the nut roast), all without having to pay through the nose. The team went out of their way to accommodate us veggies and the 9-month year old in our group, for which we are really grateful! We aren’t local but we WILL be back next time we’re visiting Northampton again.
Another great night , the food was lovely , staff so friendly as always and the young jazz band brilliant , what a great village pub this now is ???

We visited for Sunday lunch and were welcomed warmly by the staff and Michelle the owner, very attentive service, food and drink was very good. good hearty pub food, with very pleasant surrounds. Nice to be able to take our dog, Ani who was allowed in the bar area, whilst we eat. We will definately come back. Thank you

First time at this pub. Sunday roast excellent as was the mango cheesecake to follow. Staff were lovely and altogether an enjoyable experience.

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Has been off our radar but which is now under new ownership. Well this could be a real ‘find’. We had a really wonderful lunch, the food was excellent and the service perfect thanks to the lovely Kimberly. Quite a good selection of mains with the possible exception of fish. Good wine list and the mango cheesecake was to die for. Will be returning for one of their themed nights.

Went in with my family last Saturday for a bite to eat and a pint. Michelle and team warmly greeted us and furnished us with menus. My wife mentioned that our son was sleepy and she offered a sofa area where he could lay down. We accepted and he passed out nearly immediately. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The pub itself is a gorgeous place which while updated and fresh looking still retains that old country pub charm. We will defo be going back!Kid-friendliness: Not only were the kids made welcome, Michelle brought out a whole pencil art kit for them
