Great Sunday lunch with friends, I think this is fourth time we have eaten at shipman’s since it opened and we have always enjoyed the food and ambiance. Alice was our server today and she definitely knows how to look after customers, nothing was too much trouble, thank you for a lovely afternoon.
What a lovely Sunday lunch had out this afternoon with my aunt. I booked a table on line, all very easy and asked for a table down stairs, we picked where we sat so that was great. I'd explained we needed downstairs as aunt in her early 80's and I was bringing her for a birthday treat. The staff were lovely, attentive and my aunt told them a story about my nan and great nan coming to Shipmans in the 1920's with nan sitting outside with her pop and snacks. Best pub in Northampton by a mile , staff are fantastic, friendly and courteous. Food was amazing . Can’t recommend enough . If you haven’t been before do yourself a favour and book a table you won’t regret it .
