Called in here after the cricket. It seems a great pub. They served a good pint. Not too bad a price. However all the people in the pub were either sat on their own or not talking to who they were with. Strange!! I must have looked out of place having fun & chatting to my mate. Despite this, a good pint ?
We found this pub on Google when looking for somewhere open on a Sunday morning. The man that served us was so welcoming and really friendly. He had a chat with us when putting the menus out too, which was nice. The pub has a lovely, traditional pub interior. The drinks were reasonably priced. We will definitely return!

A wonderful friendly pub.lovely decor ..I love a private atmosphere. Yes it's dark....its meant to be.! Go sit at the window if you want a spot light on your soul! ( or eat) Half price meals Mon to Fri. Really friendly staff. I will be back ! ( don't expect a landscaped garden ...its in town centre .why rd..no room!)
