Fabulous home cooked food.Great beer.Phoned ahead and allowed to park campervan in the carpark in exchange for a meal in the pub.What's not to like?!Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I was part of a 20+ party, eating at The Cock. Menu had been sent out so we'd been able to prebook our meals. As we were arriving late, the starters had been served. All of the main meals were served together, a feat in itself as we were all having something different. Staff were pleasant & kind. Loved the point that she asked my name to find what we'd ordered, when paying then addressed by that. It just felt comfortable, although she was taking money?

Our local landlady and her team supported us beautifully for our Gyms Christmas party. 20 peeps perfectly looked after. Vegans and vegetarians carefully looked after with personal menus. Room beautifully decorated, service was spot on and the food.....wow, just perfect. Each course was delicious and personally not eaten so much in a while but was too nice to leave. Great atmosphere and reports back from people was it was so much better than where they normally go and would love to come back. Yardley Powerlifting Gym has found its new get together home. We had a lovely meal at The Cock to celebrate Mums 80th Birthday. We had the 3 course Christmas dinner and the food was perfectly cooked and presented. The service was excellent, and the staff made a real effort to make Mums Birthday celebration extra special.

We had our annual Club Xmas party at the Cock with 20 of us involved this year. The food and staff were exceptional and made sure we had a great evening. Every course and choice was delicious and well presented and vegan specials made to order as well. The Cock is a hidden gem and we will definitely be going back soon. We've just moved into the village and love the thought of having a local pub we can walk to and use during the summer months too. The Cock is perfect for us. Excellent food at very reasonable prices, friendly staff and a great atmosphere, make this pub stand out from the run of the mill pub/restaurants I've been to recently. I couldn't recommend the pub and its great food and drink highly enough. I look forward to many more meals and nights out there.

We came for our club Christmas lunch, 17 of us in total. We had the side bar to ourselves, great Christmas food all served together with a smile and laugh. We'll definitely be back both as individuals and the club again. Thanks to the superb service and staff - you made the start to Christmas wonderful.
