Love this place, have recently moved back to the area, so glad we have! This is a typical good old fashioned pub, no food served on site but they have various food trucks on their car park several times a week which you are welcome to enjoy inside, locals are all very friendly and say hello ? the pub is also dog friendly, my cockapoo goes in the door even if we’re just passing on a walk! All in all a great place!
What a great atmosphere this village pub has, great friendly service, both staff and customers are super friendly and has good weekend entertainment. Really impressed the first time I went there this weekend.

I met my amazing husband at the Melbourne Arms on a cold night in October 1993. We went back for our 30th anniversary drink recently & it was such a delight! Lovely friendly bar staff, & great atmosphere. A perfect locals pub & we will be returning very soon.
