Popped in on the second day of an epic Rugby tour throughout England and was not disappointed. Fireplace going in the bar, great crowd, perfect for a post-match pint and meal on a rainy night. Everyone was super friendly and they had great real ale on tap. Food was second to none, not your average pub food, I'm American but this was definitely the best fish and chips I've ever had, cheers to the chef. Will make it a point to stop here on my next trip through Northampton!
What a lovely little gem.. Amazing Sunday roast with the family today! Highly recommend, gorgeous cosy pub with fantastic garden.. can’t wait to come back.. best place we’ve found in Northampton for a roast and great value for money ?

Almost 65 years old come July and believe it or not Tuesday 27th Feb was the first time I have ever been inside I knew the Bradshaw boys and Stephen perrett Southampton rd and Kevin Karen Tony and reg the father it was a marvelous nostalgia trip and am going Sunday lunch with.my son great menu and great prices a truly gem of a pub
