I visited with a group of friends. Two staff were polite and attentive. Excellent customer service. Most of us had the fish and chips. All meals were wonderfully cooked and with great portion sizes. I would definitely visit again.
Very good meal and would recommend. However just a couple of negatives which missed the 5* review. Visited 13th Jan for dinner, however we popped in at lunch time after a long journey. Initially met with “it’s not a pub” which we apologised for but where allowed a drink which we greatly appreciated after a 3 hour journey. Arrived for our meal and woooow the food in this place deserves a Michelin star. Food - arrived promptly and was lovely and hot and very well presented....read full review

Wonderful meal. My brother is coeliac and there was a big choice of gluten free food, not just steak and chips! Love the warm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. Best place to eat in the area
