The Tower Bar in Ballymoney has so far been our very favorite experience as travelers. We had the greatest pleasure of meeting Dan, the owner, along with Carl, Cliff, Alec, and Chris. We heard stories of the area and learned new phrases like “yin mare” (one more - ie, yin for the road and yin for around the corner) and got all the best recommendations for snacks, drinks, and food. A small bar with a small game room in the back. For a small town and older building the friendly service and hospitality was unequaled. Thanks to the owner we had a wonderful evening ending a wet and cold outdoors adventure and flat tire. The refuge was welcomed.
