Came here for brunch. I enjoy the seating area and atmosphere, but the food I was served tasted absolutely disgusting! Like it had gone off long ago! Coffee good, but overall wouldn't recommend. Also seems fairly overpriced.

I decided to give Canteen a second chance after a substandard first visit, but won’t be back again. I’ll credit the quality of food, but is crazily overpriced when compared to other options on the Ormeau road.Most memorably, service attitude and speed was appalling, with drinks taking upwards 30 minutes to get to the table. Food was very nice, thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast burger with some avocado on the side. Very disappointed in the small size of the orange juice glass. Didn’t look like the picture and was half ice but didn’t ruin the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful when I had an issue with a missing egg tried to sort it and ended up refunding me as I was leaving in the end. Would eat here again.
