Really surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Food is always lovely. Yes, things are a little pricey but so is everything now.Really good selection and a great gluten free menu.
Went with grandchildren to pick up food for treat dinner. Staff are lovely and when we wanted fish we could always depend on good quality fish at John Dory's Castlereagh. However, the fish we got yesterday was appalling. My grandson and I got two small pieces of the thinness pieces of fish and there was more batter than fish which was not up to usual standard. Even our dog who loves a piece of fish wouldn't eat it. Very disappointing. Will not be buying there again. Definitely...read full review

Ballygowan Road shop is regular stop for fish and a pastie.Last time, I changed my pastie order for scampi, wrong move.It was awful, batter was much too thick and scampi overcooked.I think I'll look for an alternative chippy in the future.
