Called in this morning for breakfast. Very extensive menu, staff were very attentive and welcoming. Food was fantastic and served quickly. Will definitely be back for lunch next time. Absolutely loved this little gem
They have a good selection on their menu you just need to choose wisely. Also we were waiting a long time on our order and someone eventually realised we had been sitting in a tiny corner they came to tell us the kitchen had lost our order. So after an hour of waiting it turned up, I ordered pancakes, I got 3 large partially toasted sunblest pancakes on a plate, that was it, had to ask for syrup, definitely not worth waiting an hour for, after the first one I gave up. This place is the best. Unpretentious, good value, straight up Ulster food. Were exiles and visited the morning after a wedding - Maggie May’s breakfast and brunches absolutely deliver. Service is quick and friendly, and tea comes in a decent sized pot. Special shout out for the milkshakes which are the size of your head - my son demands one every time we are back home! Be aware that when we visited the Stranmillis branch was cash only.
