We were on a cruise ship tour of Belfast pubs & bars, and this was one of our stops. It's not the oldest pub in Belfast (established in 1711), but it is supposedly the oldest building in the city. There was a group of musicians playing and singing traditional Irish tunes, and the music alone was worth the visit. A great way to experience some of the Irish culture in an enjoyable atmosphere. After a shaky start to our Sunday we crossed the bridge and walked into first bar we met and didn’t leave. It was that good we forgot to eat until we got home several hours later!

Located in the oldest building in Belfast, McHugh's offers the perfect taste of Northern Ireland. Whether it's Guinness or Irish Red, the beer is perfect with a bowl of traditional Irish Stew. Great place! A must in Belfast.
