Second time I have stayed here for work, first time I was in the annex which was great, however this time I was in the main hotel in room 11, the room itself was fine, spacious clean and comfortable, but and it’s a big but could not see out of the windows when I opened it to see, I could see why, there is a huge building with a metal roof that comes right up to the window and covers most of it, there are also two large extraction fans that kick in at 6am sharp !! Horrible droning noise so advice to anyone booking check where you are room wise.

Was at Glenavon Court tonight for Bingo Loco. I would rate it 5 out of 10.For the price of the tickets £22 the only good prize was the holiday. No monetary prizes just silly prizes. Think this needs to be looked into. Also we went to the bar to order our drinks. I wanted wine. They didn't have any. A bar without wine especially a place so highly rated in the North of Ireland. So disappointing. When the show was over I found the staff that was on so rude in getting us out of the building. They weren't so rude when we were going in. I attend the Glenavon a lot for meals and the staff are so nice and attentive to ones needs but will definitely not be attending the Glenavon Court again.

Our evening party was perfect from start to finish. Even though we kept James our host waiting due to traffic, the food was served roasting hot and the chips just right. Every one of our guests commented on the high standard of service and quality of food they received. We also appreciated how smoothly everything ran and how nothing was a bother to any of the staff. The room was immaculate and I really respected the fact that I was given time to come in the night before and set a few things up. The cleanliness of the accommodation is second to none and the breakfast amazing. We would certainly recommend this hotel to any couple when choosing their wedding venue.

What a superb hotel. I've stayed in crosstown before but not here as this has been full previously and can see why. A big hotel but we'll set out so even in distant rooms it's not a huge walk, I've had longer in some premier inns. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and options available for couples families etc. Reception staff very friendly and professional with 24hr coverage tooDidn't try the restaurant but have a fantastic range of room service optionsBig free car park right out front. This is one to bookmark for staying whenever in the area that's for sure

This is a beautiful hotel that’s obviously been renovated/modernised - all fittings are new and of the very best quality. The entrance/reception area is very impressive - it’s as grand as many 5 star hotels. We stayed on a busy weekend in August, but there were plenty of staff to attend to everything. There is great management at this hotel. The staff at reception were courteous and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also excellent. We had an evening meal here - I was very impressed by the quality of the cooking. We all ordered different meals - everything was cooked and presented beautifully. A much higher standard than a recent meal we had at the Chester Grosvenor. There are beautiful grounds surrounding this hotel. We loved the view of the Ballinderry river from our room.We shall definitely return.

Stayed for one night on 31st August. Have stayed a number of times over the years. Have mobility issues so requested a room not too far from reception, far enough from lift/doors so that we would not be disturbed. Given room 18 was ideal. Room was large with a bigger than normal bathroom. Found the shower a little bit small, considering the size of the bathroom, but not a major problem. Food in the restaurant was excellent and service excellent. Special mention for Michelle, she made the visit extra special.

Absolutely lovely hotel, stayed here for a wedding and it was great. Staff went above and beyond and offered really good service.Same as most locks hotels no air con is the only negative but there is a small fan in every room.

Room 19 overlooks what I can only be described as a generator room from the constant drone all the time. Hot night so had the window open due to no air con although there were 2 fans in the room. My room was small but modern with a large comfy bed and nice shower room (no bath) so quite a nice place to be all be it with the constant drone. Breakfast IMO was very limited choice compared to most hotels at this price range and not buffet service for hot food. You are served what you would like but portions are small unless you ask for more. Restaurant area and bar is quite a nice place to be , however I was recommended to eat at another hotel close by to go for dinner so did not eat at the hotel. There are rooms in an annex that overlook the river which a colleague stayed in and was impressed. I suppose I was unlucky with my room. If you book try not to get room 19. If I was staying for more than one night I would have asked to move to a quieter room. Overall a nice stay which could have been much better.

Had a lovely meal everyone enjoyed. Had the carvery, everything was delicious. Lamb, beef and turkey were the meats, with all the fixings. Fantastic salad bar. Good food. Good value. Pleasant setting.
