Our evening party was perfect from start to finish. Even though we kept James our host waiting due to traffic, the food was served roasting hot and the chips just right. What a superb hotel. I've stayed in crosstown before but not here as this has been full previously and can see why. A big hotel but we'll set out so even in distant rooms it's not a huge walk, I've had longer in some premier inns. This is a beautiful hotel that’s obviously been renovated/modernised - all fittings are new and of the very best quality. The entrance/reception area is very impressive - it’s as grand as many 5 star hotels.We stayed on a busy weekend in August, but there were plenty of staff to attend to everything.
