Food was delicious. For lunch my 93-year-old mother-in-law, who was brought up in Crossgar but now lives in Belfast, had a club sandwich (loads for one person); my wife had a toasted Ciabatta with avocado and bacon and I had a toastie with bacon, brie and cranberry. McCarthy's is well worth a visit. It's spotless,bright and airy and comfortable with some seats outside too. There was room for a Mum to manoeuvre a baby buggy. Menu is lovely and plenty of choices. They also cater well for special diets and are willing to change items to suit if necessary. We had breakfast and the orange juice was freshly squeezed, items cooked beautifully and well presented. We order two platters of sandwiches for a birthday party. Staff were wonderful, very attentive and welcoming. The sandwiches were out of this world. At such a responsible price we won't hesitate to order again. Even for smaller events. Thank you! Richard
