Used to be one of the best around years ago but it's been poor recently. New owners? Iv been a few times over the last 2 years and it's never been great but kept returning based on years of good reputation. Last night the food was awful, worst meat kebab iv ever had. Poor quality and swimming in rotten sauce. My partners fish was mostly batter and the chips very dry. Won't be back.
Fish and chips ? done the way they are supposed to be perfect, great quality and friendly staff bit of a queue but understandably so, the food speaks for quality and quantity of customers.

What has happened to the Golden Chip? They used to make the best chips in Belfast. My chips were a soggy greasy mush, put them in the oven to try and crisp them up a bit but they ended up in the bin. So disappointed.
