I was disappointed with the food today. Normally, the food is excellent, but there are a couple of things that weren't right. The goujons lacked any kind of flavour, and there was no dressing on the salad. I know it's not their usual standard, so I'll be back again. The staff and atmosphere are always top-notch.
It was my first time here. I had went looking for something small and a hot chocolate while I waited for my husband. Soon as I came in to the cafe I was welcomed by the man behind the counter. I ordered my scone and hot chocolate and took a seat. Within a couple of minutes I had my order. My hot chocolate was a perfect temperature and nice and chocolaty. Lovely venue & decorating, relaxed, chill vibes & friendly service. Love to see it in Newry. I wish more places would conjure up this type of atmosphere in town but the majority of venues are 15 years behind.
