“Stayed in the refurbished rooms. Had a wonderful time, everything was lovely. One does hear what is going on in the pub, but neither of us had a problem falling asleep, even without earplugs.”

“We have a static caravan at Wooler and decided to try somewhere different for some food and drinks. What a beautiful pub and location! The lady behind the bar was absolutely lovely and made us feel comfortable, they really couldn’t do enough. We ordered a range of food from the children’s menu, main and specials and they were all delicious and really good quality. The service was great and the girl had a lovely personality. We would definitely come back with friends and family.”

“Super friendly pub, we loved having a drink here during our holiday. Land lady was so friendly, welcoming and showed a genuine interest in how our day had been. The pub has a lovely outdoor seating area and inside is very comfortable too, both areas are dog friendly and the land lady even offered good quality dog treats.
