I always look forward to coming back to Scott’s when I’m in the area. The owners are lovely and the food/coffee selection are great.

Staying in Alnmouth for a few nights, I ordered a meal via Scott’s of Alnmouth website in advance. We were only visiting for the weekend via train so didn’t want to carry ingredients to cook. We ordered a vegetarian curry and a Dishoom recipe dhal, mango chutney from the deli and naan. Couldn’t have been easier to order nor more delicious, highly HIGHLY recommend.

We dropped in for some delicious treats before we went for a walk on the beach. The Portuguese custard tarts and cheese twists are unreal! ? We will definitely be back!

If there was any other competition in the area, the attitudes of the staff would change. I can’t believe they didn’t accept cash, not even the right amount. My custom was refused as I didn’t have my card, and although I had the right change. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going again.

A great spot to grab a coffee and a cruffin or Portuguese custard tart after a nice walk around the estuary, through the village, or along the coast.Always plenty of independent and unusual (You would struggle to fund them in Asda! ?) foodstuffs to look at too. Bit pricey, but it's indie, in a great location, and the service is top notch, so I'm fine with that. The sourdough bread deserves a shout out of its own too!

Best coffee in town!

Only take out drinks and cakes available. Variety of produce but extremely overpriced. Appalling service. Man serving was very arrogant and rude. Will never go back here. Avoid this place. There are plenty of friendly pubs and cafes in Alnmouth.

Echoing what others have said recently - ridiculously rude owners/staff (particularly the main lady). Incredibly stuck up. Certainly would not give them my business again. Horrible. Shame as it is a lovely deli. Don’t remember it being so bad when it first opened.

Really nice food and coffee. But I bought coffee beans in a cup and didn't realise until I got home that the charged me £5.75 for 117g working out at almost about £60 per Kg.

Congratulations you are “Officially” the most unfriendly and stuck up shop in the northeast! Definitely would not recommend a visit!

This place has some absolutely lovely produce but could be sooooo much better if the staff were friendly. It has a very unfriendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in, quite daunting actually. I was watched as I wandered around and yet no one chose to even say hello. Bought two sandwiches and two coffees for £15 which is pretty standard but I won’t go back purely because they don’t come across as wanting your business.

The warm pasta del natas every morning with coffee from the deli made our holiday in Alnmouth. Delicious salads & breads & a wonderful array of deli produce in general. I highly recommend you pop in.
