Called in today as a party of four with a dog. Been here numerous times and it never disappoints. Plenty of people in for a Monday afternoon but not crowded. Good selection of Ales and everyone who calls in is made welcome. Very popular with all walks of life and dog friendly in bar and garden area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Parking is an issue as there is zero on site parking, there is space for a few parking spaces for overnight guests which could be utilised. Rooms are lovely, very good standard. Surpassed our expectations. Breakfast was small, which was a shame, but what was there was nice. Overall very pleasant stay.

Just nipped in for lunch, the bar is very cosy and welcoming with a couple of open fires. Good selection of drinks. Only had sandwiches, but they were very tasty (the smoked salmon was fab). Highly recommend.
