Called in for 1 but ended up staying until throwing out time. An good selection of beers, everyone in there were friendly and having a good laugh. Music playlist was quality. Bar lady (Sara) was absolutely brilliant. She was a really good laugh and let us add our songs to the play list which added to a great night.
Really nice and clean pub, filled with character. Very friendly locals and the pub was dog friendly. Decent prices and excellent ale. The staff working in the pub were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the beer and local area. Playing cards on the tables were a really nice touch. It is a small pub but easy to just sit and pass the time away. Great location, a must visit if you are in the area!

Really nice small, cosy pub that has a great atmosphere. We met friends for a drink before a meal in Amble. They live locally and we are in Blyth. Friendly service. Love the fact that it is small and quirky.Parking: Gets really busy in summer and on Sundays when there is a market.Wheelchair accessibility: Small pub so could be quite tight getting the wheelchair amongst the tables and chairs.
