JASPERS BISTRO
8 Bridge St, Amble, MorpethWe booked for a lunch to celebrate our anniversary, what an excellent choice. As soon as we walked in we knew we were going to enjoy our time here. A genuinely friendly welcome, lovely relaxing ambience and a tempting menu. The food was simply excellent, prepared and served by people who care deeply about their customer’s experience. We can now well understand why there always seems to be a waiting list for a table. Thank you…..a special day was made very special indeed

Cock & Bull
Queen St, Amble, MorpethReally nice small, cosy pub that has a great atmosphere. We met friends for a drink before a meal in Amble. They live locally and we are in Blyth. Friendly service. Love the fact that it is small and quirky.Parking: Gets really busy in summer and on Sundays when there is a market.Wheelchair accessibility: Small pub so could be quite tight getting the wheelchair amongst the tables and chairs.

Rossini restaurant Amble
47-49 High St, Amble, MorpethCame with my partner for a lovely meal. Didn't book and it was busy so we feared we wouldn't get seated but they managed to seat us quickly. Lovely setting and when the meal arrived it was as delicious as it looked (chicken dela casa and a fillet medium/rare with peppercorn sauce) Will have to come back soon to work our way through the menu

The Galley
62 Queen St, Amble, MorpethLove the fresh sandwiches, that are prepared by the lovely staff. Sandwiches are well worth the price. Loads of filling. Only problem is they are so gorgeous you only want to eat from there and I'm only in Amble once a week so left craving my Friday sandwich. Hardworking staff, really clean and loads of choice.

The Waterloo
6 Queen St, Amble, MorpethMe and a few mates had a weekend in Amble and called in here. Its the sort of place that you can tell is mainly locals, and us being in our 50's and by midnight on a Saturday it was proving to be rather lively with many younger locals. However everyone was very friendly and took great delights in telling us long tales about Freddie the Dolphin and his exploits. Dave the owner ran the Karaoke and we joined in the fun.
