8 Bridge St, Amble, MorpethSuperb seafood restaurant. Fantastic menu that will leave you in a quandary about what to order as it is ALL good. Prices very fair. Very relaxed unrushed service which was lovely as we didn’t feel we were being rushed for the next sitting. Small venue only four tables but very intimate. Really good whiskey menu. Would definitely recommend. And we will be back. Dog friendly too.

1911 Coffee Co.
28-30 Queen St, Amble, MorpethWe had breakfast here as a family and it was absolutely delicious. My wife and I both went for the smaller breakfast, which was perfectly cooked and really high quality. Our daughter had a sausage and egg sandwich which she loved, and her boyfriend had the waffles with bacon — a great combination and very well done.
The coffee was excellent too, easily some of the best we’ve had in the area. It was also really nice to see that everything on the menu was sourced locally — you could really taste the quality.
A fantastic spot for breakfast — we’ll definitely be back.

Cock & Bull
Queen St, Amble, MorpethAn excellent little pub. What it lacks in size, it makes up character and friendliness. It has a range of different local handpulled beers, I think 5 when I went in, and and good range of lagers and ciders. The barman, who I believe was the owner, was knowledgeable about beer and explained the differences between the local brews on offer. Nothing seemed too much trouble and it was one of those places where you can walk in, relax and have a pleasant chat with the people in there. The friendly atmosphere fostered this approach and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A good place to visit if you're in Amble.

80 Queen St, Amble, MorpethWe read reviews of both here and Rossini’s in Amble when deciding where to eat once we decided on Italian. Let’s just say that Rossini’s reviews, although entertaining, made it an easy choice. And glad we did visit La Famiglia. The food was tasty and filling. Both the pizza and the seafood pasta really hit the mark. And very reasonably priced. No complaints at all. Certainly worth a visit if in Amble.

The Harbour Inn - Amble

The young lady (wearing glasses) was a credit to the pub. Friendly helpful and always smiling. To the young lad serving on Sunday evening, please smile. Thanks for two enjoyable evenings. Lovely spacious place and spotlessly clean.
Great menu for daily food offerings (After Breakfast) Scones looked fantastic, but I was here for the Lillys full breakie.
Coffees were on point along with the attentive staff.
Dog friendly too for those of you with a pooch in tow. Highly recommend this place. Enjoyed every try bit of been here.

The Dock
Dock Hotel, 27 Queen St, Amble, MorpethI had a wonderful stay at the Dock Hotel. When we arrived by bike, we were given a warm welcome and shown to a secure place to store the bikes, which was a great start. The room itself was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was both hot and powerful.
The real highlight, though, was the breakfast. There was an impressive selection—cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, a choice of cooked breakfasts, and freshly brewed coffee. It was the perfect way to fuel up before setting off on our ride.
About 25 miles into our journey, I realised I had left my phone in the room. I called the hotel, and they kindly arranged next-day priority delivery so it was waiting for me when I got home. I was so grateful for their helpfulness.
Thank you to the team at Dock Hotel—I hope to visit Amble and your lovely hotel again soon. Highly recommended!

62 Queen St, Amble, MorpethLove the fresh sandwiches, that are prepared by the lovely staff. Sandwiches are well worth the price. Loads of filling. Only problem is they are so gorgeous you only want to eat from there and I'm only in Amble once a week so left craving my Friday sandwich. Hardworking staff, really clean and loads of choice.

The Masons Arms
Woodbine St, Amble, MorpethWe visited this pub around 4 years ago on a stay in Alnwick, now we were returning I knew I wanted to go back here! The food is proper home cooked pub food, the steak pie is not to be missed. The service was so friendly, they were so good with our little boy who enjoyed his sausage & potatoes from the children’s menu!

The Old Boathouse
Leazes St, Amble, MorpethWe had the sea food platter which was excellent and value for money. We had a doggie bag as quite large portions except they omitted the prawns we discovered when we got home.
The rest of the menu, was, in our view overpriced especially the fish and chips and steaks. The pizzas too. Glad we went though as the sea bass, haddock , crab, salmon and picked herring were excellent.

Bengal Spice Tandoori
67 Queen St, Amble, MorpethNot used this take away for a long time and was very pleasantly surprised. Ordered a take away at 5pm and it arrived 20 minutes later. Delivery driver was super friendly. Starter and main course was spot on, I couldn't fault anything at all. Thank you for a lovely Saturday night treat.
