Wansbeck Business Park, AshingtonI eat here at least twice a week & have done for about 4 years Luke the barman is exceptional at his job.Cheerful helpful and makes sure all your needs are met. Lucy has been trained by Luke and she too delivers excellent service They both are a credit. to the company. When you visit try the Apple Crumble it is fantastic!

6 Meadowfield, AshingtonProbably the best chippy in the area. Fish is always perfect and the chips are always cooked nice.
But another price increase? £17.10 for cod bites and chips with a tub of curry and peas is a bit steep.
The staff who work on the front taking orders are always spot on, very happy and polite.
Just a shame the woman on the fryer couldn't be the same. Proper miserable, I don't think I've ever seen her smile.

Red Lion Tavern Pulborough
London Rd, Ashington, PulboroughWe had a meal at The Red Lion and while the food wasn’t quite what we were hoping for, the service more than made up for it. Charlie, our waiter, was only three days into the job but you’d never know it — he was friendly, attentive, and really made the experience enjoyable. The manager was also excellent and handled our concerns with professionalism, adjusting the bill to reflect our meal. Great customer service all around — a real credit to the team!

Blackthorn Way, AshingtonAn ideal local for surrounding residents or those dropping by while travelling although a little off the beaten track for the latter. Decent range of drinks and the food is always good and quickly delivered. I myself today enjoyed a couple of Stellas and the peri peri chicken nachos, delicious to say the least, and my mate Michael concurred, tremendously enjoying his John Smiths too while sharing the nachos, which wasn't a problem due to the size of the portion ?
Attentive, welcoming bar staff, and a good mix of seemingly regulars who were all friendly and, like us, enjoying a Friday afternoon drop of relaxation. Plenty of outside seating both out front next to the car park and also the beer garden at the rear. Bravo. Plenty for all including families, although today was beautifully sprog-free. I love children but I couldn't eat a whole one.

72A Station Rd., AshingtonOur 2nd order from the Taj in just a few days (our first review on Google and TripAdvisor) we haven't tried a curry yet, but we called in for a snack after the pub tonight. Had king prawn bhuna on puri, keema nan and peshwari nan, we also tried the onion bharji. All were very tasty, prawns were lovely (not too fishy) and a definite improvement on onion bharji which were more moist. New owners are also lovely too. thanks again, highly recommended

This comes with poppadom, any starter, any main, any rice or naan and ice cream or coffee. I think this is very good value. The food was really good, tasty and fairly spicy but they can accommodate you. When we went they were cash only, so bare this in mind. They could do with replacing the chairs as you fall though some. Also some minor cosmetic issues that could benefit from repair, like damage to the wall.

Unit 1a, Central Arcade, 16 Woodhorn Rd, Ashingtoni am appalled. i ordered last night, and have only just been able to put into words how i feel. ordered a cookie dough, smoothie and a mocktail. the smoothie tasted like VOMIT?? and wasnt even cold, after 20 minutes a HORRID sludge formed ontop, i was disgusted. the mocktail was rancid and i was unable to drink, and the fruit in it was MOLDY. AND the cookie dough was 2cm thick, sorry but if the cookie dough is £7.00 i expect more. i am utterly disappointed and shocked, i am a loyal customer, and the lack of cookie dough left my son starving and in tears. we are definitely not returning, the d was not big.

I also order on their website and the food is always ready at the selected time.Both the Chicken and Donner are very tasty and the salad is always fresh. Queen Elizabeth Country Park, AshingtonMy daughter wanted to go here for her tea on her 9th birthday. The 2 young ladies who served us were absolutely lovely and so helpful. When they bought her cake out they sang happy birthday and gave her an Easter egg as it was a few days before Easter. Food was lovely and very reasonable priced. Lovely location too. Highly recommend!

We probably enjoy around 10-15 takeaways each year, and whenever we opt for Chinese, we always choose Tiger Oriental. The food has consistently been excellent.
You can request the salt and chili chips to be extra crispy, which we love. We usually go for the set meal for one, which is generous enough to share, especially if you order chips as a side.
The noodle dishes have a clean taste rather than being coated in a thick soy sauce, leaving you feeling satisfied without that sluggish feeling afterward. Could also be because it’s not pumped with tons of MSG.

Everyone enjoyed it, the deals they do are really good for the price and you get quite big portions, especially than some of the other takeaways around here. The staff was lovely, had a great chat while waiting for the food. Definitely recommend, the food quality is amazing, fresh, cooked right in front of you, and the prices are good. 100% visiting again.

QEII Country Park, AshingtonThis was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. We didn't know much about mining but we do now! The play area was a hit and the cafe was reasonably priced. Extra marks for Ringtons products! I really enjoyed the Mik Critchlow exhibition, such a fabulous insite into times gone by. I'm a keen photographer myself and it's given me a little inspiration to try black and white editing

I ordered the mince and Dumplings to go. I also got a cheeky bit of crunchie cake.
I did go in with the intention to get a tuna salad. ?
The food was nice and had alot of flavour to it.

I had a friend put me onto this place and it was so good i had to share, i literally have a mate who i bond over this place with. GO BEFORE THE PRICES INCREASE !!
