Lucy has been trained by Luke and she too delivers excellent service They both are a credit. to the company. When you visit try the Apple Crumble it is fantastic!

6 Meadowfield, AshingtonHad the most amazing fish and chips. It’s a long time since we had any as good. We are visiting the area for a few days and today we did the coast, my son googled best fish and chips in the area and we drove from Whitley bay to have our dinner. The fish was cooked to order and the batter was perfect no soggy bits or bland chips.\nThe guy serving was so friendly, not often you get this and it makes such a difference. Well done guys you deserve all your success.

London Rd, Ashington, PulboroughWe had a meal at The Red Lion and while the food wasn’t quite what we were hoping for, the service more than made up for it. Charlie, our waiter, was only three days into the job but you’d never know it — he was friendly, attentive, and really made the experience enjoyable. The manager was also excellent and handled our concerns with professionalism, adjusting the bill to reflect our meal. Great customer service all around — a real credit to the team!

Blackthorn Way, AshingtonAn ideal local for surrounding residents or those dropping by while travelling although a little off the beaten track for the latter. Decent range of drinks and the food is always good and quickly delivered. I myself today enjoyed a couple of Stellas and the peri peri chicken nachos, delicious to say the least, and my mate Michael concurred, tremendously enjoying his John Smiths too while sharing the nachos, which wasn't a problem due to the size of the portion ?
Attentive, welcoming bar staff, and a good mix of seemingly regulars who were all friendly and, like us, enjoying a Friday afternoon drop of relaxation. Plenty of outside seating both out front next to the car park and also the beer garden at the rear. Bravo. Plenty for all including families, although today was beautifully sprog-free. I love children but I couldn't eat a whole one.

72A Station Rd., AshingtonOur 2nd order from the Taj in just a few days (our first review on Google and TripAdvisor) we haven't tried a curry yet, but we called in for a snack after the pub tonight. Had king prawn bhuna on puri, keema nan and peshwari nan, we also tried the onion bharji. All were very tasty, prawns were lovely (not too fishy) and a definite improvement on onion bharji which were more moist. New owners are also lovely too. thanks again, highly recommended

This comes with poppadom, any starter, any main, any rice or naan and ice cream or coffee. I think this is very good value. The food was really good, tasty and fairly spicy but they can accommodate you. When we went they were cash only, so bare this in mind. They could do with replacing the chairs as you fall though some. Also some minor cosmetic issues that could benefit from repair, like damage to the wall.

I also order on their website and the food is always ready at the selected time.Both the Chicken and Donner are very tasty and the salad is always fresh. To top it off the chilli sauce has a nice amount of heat.Looking forward to my next one. ???

Queen Elizabeth Country Park, AshingtonTook the kids for breakfast this morning & was as pleased as ever! 2 kids ate free with 1 adult, everything was fresh & very tasty. We ate a full English then fruit & yoghurt but you're wellcome to also eat a selection of pasteries & cereal too (as much as you want aswell well!) We were warmly welcomed by Jenni, who couldn't do enough for us, despite the fact that they'd had an issue with a burst water pipe affecting the restaurant & hotel earlier in the morning which meant they had to open late & several people were complaining to her like she could fix it independently! I watched in awe as she handled this professionally, warmly & apologetically all with a smile on her face! Thanks for a lovely experience this morning Jenni you really are a credit to your team & employer! (Sadly no picture as I was half way though breakfast before I realised ?)

We probably enjoy around 10-15 takeaways each year, and whenever we opt for Chinese, we always choose Tiger Oriental. The food has consistently been excellent.
You can request the salt and chili chips to be extra crispy, which we love. We usually go for the set meal for one, which is generous enough to share, especially if you order chips as a side.
The noodle dishes have a clean taste rather than being coated in a thick soy sauce, leaving you feeling satisfied without that sluggish feeling afterward. Could also be because it’s not pumped with tons of MSG.

Everyone enjoyed it, the deals they do are really good for the price and you get quite big portions, especially than some of the other takeaways around here. The staff was lovely, had a great chat while waiting for the food. Definitely recommend, the food quality is amazing, fresh, cooked right in front of you, and the prices are good. 100% visiting again.

17 N Seaton Rd, AshingtonI really like this lovely little coffee shop. There’s a branch in Cramlington too that I also visit but I prefer this one. I only ever really have a coffee ( delicious) or a bit of toast or flapjack but I really must try the lunch options which all look really tasty. They include toasties, jacket pots and quiche with salad etc. The girls are friendly and the place is always nipping clean and tidy and nicely decorated.
It’s a good place to come with a friend to natter or on your own.

Outside seating. We visited several times whilst staying at local Parkdean site on holiday, there was no comparison between their expensive meals and drinks and this great value Spoons. Recommended.

I ordered the mince and Dumplings to go. I also got a cheeky bit of crunchie cake.
I did go in with the intention to get a tuna salad. ?
The food was nice and had alot of flavour to it.

Which was a great thing to do in todays world of rules. Would definitely use them again, although preferably over better circumstances. Frequently work in the area and was getting sick of the usual spots, then found Glentons.
Massive chicken and bacon bap and sausage roll well worth the price and delicious. Staff even offered to change my sandwich after seeing they had a hot carvery sandwich behind.

Everything is always gorgeous to eat and large portions and lady behind counter very pleasant. Woodhorn Museum
QEII Country Park, AshingtonThis was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. We didn't know much about mining but we do now! The play area was a hit and the cafe was reasonably priced. Extra marks for Ringtons products! I really enjoyed the Mik Critchlow exhibition, such a fabulous insite into times gone by. I'm a keen photographer myself and it's given me a little inspiration to try black and white editing

145 Alexandra Rd, Ashingtoni love this place so much!! i go so often me and the owners are mates, the food is soooooo cheap yet so good, id pay like a million quid for a tub of garlic sauce. the chips are so crispy and fresh, kebabs unreal, pizzas, oh my days, the pizzas....BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD!! I had a friend put me onto this place and it was so good i had to share, i literally have a mate who i bond over this place with. GO BEFORE THE PRICES INCREASE !!
