Cee Jay's Cafe
Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaWhat a little Gem of a place. My hubby had ordered Sunday Lunch to collect as a surprise for me. While we were there we had breakfast which was tastefully delicious. We also ended up adding 1 dessert, 1 cheese scone and a slab of corned beef pie.All of this for £38 and everything was superb

14-15 High St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaMy partner are here for the weekend,as we had only just arrived thought we would get a takeout. It was tasty and well cooked, it could have been a bit hotter(more chillies), I suppose usually having curry’s from Huddersfield we are spoilt for choice. None the less was very nice & enjoyed ?

Cresswell Arms
19 High St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaI just popped in for a pint one evening, I went in because I could see from outside that they served Theikstones best bitter.Pint was spot on.There is a good selection of beers and spirits. I like dark rum and I could see they stocked three very good ones. The pub inside is a temple to Newcadtle United, I imaging you could have a great afternoon if Newcastle were playing.I will return in the near future.

My two little dogs were with me and they were treated to a nice bowl of water to cook down.Would definitely visit again when I return to Newbiggin by the Sea.Dog friendly and a nice drinking area outside are two real plus points that make this pub a great option for visitors to Newbiggin.Certainly on my recommended list.

Ladhars Fish Bar Newbiggin
61 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaWe live in Blyth and have a few pretty good chip shops of our own. We also often to Amble and Whitley bay where there are top rated chippies, but this one is definitely the best In Northumberland. Massive Crispy Cod on a mountain of chips.

Due Fratelli
132A Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaFantastic food, great service, and very reasonably priced. We have recently discovered Newbiggin and have been here several times. Everything is perfect other than the entrance. You have to walk through a cloud of smoke and cigarette ends from the bar downstairs. It’s a shame that there isn’t a separate way as it really gives off the wrong first impression!

Caffè Bertorelli
The Piazza, 4 Bridge St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaVery traditional café right in the centre of Newbiggin, decorated in a deco style. Licensed and serving a variety of easy bites, ice cream and coffee both inside or if the weather permits outside. Staff were friendly and efficient, and food okay. No parking available but only a short walk from other car parks.

Oriental Chef
81 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaSmall Chinese take-away. Big menu, and big portions. Set meal for 3 lasted 2 days! Food cooked fresh as you wait. Don't be put off by the somewhat decrepit interior which does need bringing into the 21st Century, as the food was great. Perhaps a little more heat in the curry would have helped mind you. Girl on the front counter (and phone) was nice and friendly.

Flame Pizza Express
70 Front St, Newbiggin-by-the-SeaI ordered from here for my sons birthday. There was 8 kids and me and my partner. We asked if we could order the holiday special deal and it was no bother for them, the lady who took our order was lovely, so helpful and friendly she let us change our order to suit what the kids wanted. When the food came all of it was hot and tasty. One of the nicest take aways I've ever had. Every thing we had was lovely so much food for excellent value. 10/10.
